Our Story
SHAWKOO is a small independent label devoted to hand-dyed traditional fabrics — printing, tie-dye and indigo. One living vat of blue, answering the uniformity of fast fashion.
Why we begin with blue
Indigo is among the oldest natural dyes. It is slow — the vat must ferment, the colour must be dipped, again and again. It is honest — every tension of the hand stays in the cloth. We answer the uniformity of industrial dyeing with this slowness.
What we make
Garments and textiles built on traditional resist-dyeing: jackets, stoles, square scarves and a home line. Priced in USD for friends of handcraft worldwide. Each piece carries its own dye number — no two alike.
How to reach us
This site is our own ground. Enquiries, wholesale and collaborations are all welcome via the form or email. Phase one runs on enquiry — tell us what you want, and we reply with price, stock and shipping.
